This project was born from an inspiring course I took called Image Imagination. I was tasked with choosing a meaningful text, no more than 1000 words, to use as a springboard for image inspiration. The following images are all based on the text of a love letter I received from my boyfriend, and themes in these images range from love, absence, isolation, connection, anxiety, fear, and togetherness. I explored multiple methods of image creation, often using unexpected materials (like sriracha, glitter, and yarn). The final deliverable is a culmination of these things–the text, the images, and the themes–all came together to create a hypothetical relational currency of the future.
